If so, you might be our new Purchasing Coordinator we are looking for at ABENA!
You will join our Waste Management team and play an important role in supporting day-to-day purchasing activities. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and our international subsidiaries, helping to ensure that product information, data, and processes flow smoothly across the organization. The position involves a variety of coordinating and administrative tasks, many of which follow established processes and workflows. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working in a structured environment and creating structures where these are lacking.
Your main responsibilities
- Maintain and update supplier and product master data across systems
- Manage product registrations, documentation, and certificates
- Follow up on missing documentation, contracts, and supplier requirements
- Support coordination across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics on product and campaign activities
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and handle deviations in dialogue with suppliers
- Handle product-related questions and provide day-to-day administrative support
What we hope you bring:
You don’t need to come from a specific industry. What matters most is that you’re structured, curious, and good at getting things done, ideally with some experience from purchasing or a coordination role.
- Ideally, but not necessarily, you have relevant commercial or purchasing-related education, or some experience from a similar coordinator role
- Enjoy working with data and systems, and paying attention to details
- Are comfortable in Excel and quick to learn new tools
- Work independently, take ownership, and follow through
- Thrive in a busy environment and stay focused on solutions - even when things change
- Being able to communicate at all organizational levels in Danish and English
