Sales and implementation of digital/innovative products for the healthcare sector (Jutland & Funen)

Independence, drive, energy, and innovation are key words in the role of Sales and Implementation Consultant at ABENA. You will be a central driving force within a critical business area in the organization. You’ll take strong ownership in driving the sales and implementation of our digital product portfolio within the healthcare sector, with a primary focus on Jutland and Funen – with occasional meetings and workshops at our headquarters in ABENA.
Your day-to-day will be versatile and outward-facing. In close collaboration with colleagues and management, you will plan sales activities, onboard new customers, and ensure value-creating operations of solutions. You’ll have a broad interface both internally and externally, and you’ll be an important contributor in building on ABENA’s positioning as an innovative company in Denmark.
The role requires that you are goal-oriented, self-directed, and eager to make a difference for the healthcare sector through technology and relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Independently plan and execute sales activities in accordance with the sales strategy
- Drive the start-up and implementation of innovative products in close collaboration with your manager and colleagues; including kick-off meetings, milestone evaluations, and final reviews
- Retain and further develop existing customers through value-creating operations and ongoing optimization of solutions
- Provide support and training onsite and via phone/email, where innovative products are in operation or under implementation
- Evaluate start-up and operational phases with a view to developing robust methods and sharing knowledge with internal resources
- Participate in regular internal meetings with the central team and colleagues, and efficiently share information and delegate via the CRM system (Salesforce)
Success in the role is achieved when you sell, implement, and scale digital products while building strong customer relationships and supporting ABENA’s strategy for innovative solutions. This requires being self-directed and able to take initiative, being goal-driven with the will to reach your targets, and energetic enough to spot opportunities and guide customers through complex processes—even when it gets difficult. A persistent “I never give up” mentality is essential to succeed.
What we hope you bring:
- A healthcare education (e.g., nurse), combined with education and/or experience in the sales and implementation of welfare technology
- Solid knowledge of the Danish care sector, including the use of welfare technology
- Skills and experience in project management
- Interest in change processes and the ability to inspire others to explore new possibilities
- Works systematically and can use facts and professional knowledge in dialogue with the customer
- Able to collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Builds good relationships and networks with customers and involves users
- Comfortable working in Salesforce and Microsoft 365, with technical flair and a good understanding of software
- Fluency in both the Danish and English language
